I’m starting this blog because on Thursday our 15 month old son, Noah, came in to have a CT scan done on his belly for a hard spot just under the ribcage.  That was Thursday…it’s now Sunday and we are faced with the fact that our son has Hepatoblastoma – a rare form of liver cancer found in children under 5. 

Noah is a beautiful boy who loves to play and sing…and that’s where the idea for the title came from.  He is a healthy, vibrant, stubborn little boy.  He showed no signs or symptoms of cancer…just a knot in his belly. 

Now, this little “bruiser” is faced with chemotherapy that starts on Tuesday.  This will be a very long process. 

It’s late and I’m tired so I will put in all of the details tomorrow.  I hope to chronicle all of our family’s trials on this blog for a couple of reasons:

• People are going to be asking “what happened” a whole lot.  Maybe they can just read this and come up to speed.
• I hope to give whatever information I can gather to other families to help
• We can keep up with what we’ve been doing

Hopefully, with everything going on, I can keep up with the blog.   We’ll have to see.
