Well, quite a bit has happened since this morning. Noah is freed from the N-G tube, the catheter, and the arterial line. Now he’s just got an IV, his port, and some leads. Not too bad. Per Dr. Nagaraj, Noah can start getting liquids at 6 tonight. It’s been since Sunday since the little guy has had anything to drink. He’s understandably a little ticked off.
We should move out of ICU and up to 7 West sometime today. That’s definitely welcome news. We’re just ready to go home and be with both of our boys. It’s been a long couple of days and we just want to be back home.
Sorry for the delay in today’s postings. It’s been a fun filled day of doctors, nurses, and visitors. Well, we like the visitors.
When we move up to 7 West, we’ll have our cell phones again…so that’ll be nice.
Thanks, as always, for all of your prayers and support. I ask that you would also pray for a 12 year old girl named Devon who was hit by a truck on Sunday while walking to the store. She’s doing pretty well, but she’s still got some woods to get through yet. Of course, her daddy says she’s more worried about the boys than getting healthy, but you know how that goes.
God bless,
Doug
