Update Time…

Just a quick update on how Noah is doing…

Everything seems to be going fine.  His incision is healing well.  He’s been eating and playing pretty much like normal now.  He even spent the night at the grandparents’ house last night…ALONE!!!  Well, with them there…but neither Crystal or I were there.  That’s a big step for him.

We’re doing great right now.  My work did a fund raiser and collected over $2300.00.  It was quite a shock…especially since they handed me cash in a manila envelope.  It was a little strange to have that much cash on the way home, but we are forever grateful to the people of NPAS.  It’s amazing how God uses people to help someone else…even if they don’t realize that they’re helping.

We’re just enjoying this time before treatment starts back up.  Dillon and I will be going on a cruise three weeks from tomorrow.  That’s going to be interesting.  My parents were taking all of us on the cruise, but for obvious reasons, Noah can’t go.  Crystal gave Dillon the option of which parent he wanted to go with him and he chose me.  So I guess I’ll suffer through 5 days of anguish on a ship with unlimited food and sun and entertainment.  Somebody’s got to suffer, so I guess it’s just as well that it’s me.  :)

Anyway, as always, thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers.  A special thanks to Robin Chambers and Bentley Bruner at NPAS for setting up the fund raiser.  There is no way to thank you or the people of NPAS enough for your generosity.

God bless,

Doug
